I’ve read around that the internet is making people more closed. Meaning, it’s beginning to affect interaction other human beings. The past 2-3 weeks actually proves otherwise. With skype, or yahoo, i’ve been talking to hunnypot every single night just to keep updated with what’s going on. the experience has been really great. I can talk to her, not just through IM, but through VOIP as well, meaning i can actually hear her. Without the net, this wouldn’t have been possible. Even my mom, she’s been using skype to talk to my sister in new york. They’re on it for 2 hrs a night, and before skype, their conversations were short, and straight to the point, meaning only important stuff. pretty cool actually! well, with technology, they can now keep each other updated on the mundane little things like me forgetting to take out the trash and stuff. hehehe.

while i know that this has been reiterated a couple of times. I just want to say that the internet isn’t closing an individual off. It’s actually breaking down barriers. allowing us to communicate, and making the world, virtually smaller. :)
