New Battery!! WooT!!!
Yep, I know, you couldn’t care less. But I got a new battery for my macbook pro as part of battery recall from Apple. Am I happy that I have new one? not really since i have to send the old one back. what I’m about about is how Apple handled it.
I entered my information on the page they provided last sunday. 2 days later, I get the replacement battery on my mail, no hassles, no problems. not really without hassle, I do have to go to DHL to send back the old one. But hey, the shipping is free with the Apple provided packaging, All I really have to do is drop it off the nearest DHL.
All in all i’m happy with Apple’s customer service. I remember once, when GM busted his iPod. All he had to do was go to the Apple Center, they looked up his serial number, found out that it was still within warranty, and he got it replaced right there and then( And if i remember correctly, he broke his iPod because of something he did).

Well, you should have called DHL to pick it up for you – it is free anyway. I got the batteries two weeks ago, called them and had it picked up same day. Cool, huh?
