Lost 9gb worth of music

I was cleaning up my laptop last week since i needed space to install bootcamp and vista rc1. Unfortunately due to some ipod/itunes synchronization snafoo(tama ba spelling ko?) I lost all of my music, all 9gb worth of it that i’ve been collecting for 5 years(not all of them legal shhhhh…)

So now i’m in the process of building my music collection. My problem is that I forgot what I was listening to. I’ve downloaded a couple of albums from gomusic.ru, supposedly legal at 10c a pop(not sure if it really is legal though). As I’m building my collection to an acceptable mix, i’ve discoverd just how weird my taste in music is. Currently this is what I have:

The Fray – How to Save a Life ( Got hooked on “How to Save a Life” from the Grey’s Anatomy season 3 preview)

John Mayer – Continuum (used to love this guy’s music, not sure about the 2nd album. A little hooked on this new one)

Snow Patrol (RUN!! see a previous entry for the lyrics from the song that go me hooked. Also from Grey’s Anatomy and Click.. The movie, not the TV Series)

Kaskade (For my club music fix)

6 Cycle Mind (Well, just because I went to highschool with some of these guys)

Switchfoot (Dare you to move still rocks)

Joss Stone (Her version of the classic Queen song “Under Pressure” rocks)

Polyphonic Spree (I just find their tunes catchy)

So i’m still building up my music collection, and still don’t have much. I’m currently looking for OPM bands (Callalily, Up Dharma Down, Urbandub, classic Barbie’s Cradle, HYP, etc etc..) So if you guys want to help me out

I’m currently using iTunes 7. Cover art is just so cool. Thank yeaw Yunnypot for the account. Don’t worry I won’t charge anything to it. I’ll just use it for downloading album arts and free eps/music.
